You can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.
The Daily Steward
I know, I know, I missed writing a newsletter last week. I was kind of having a Thanksgiving hangover from too much food ingested and perhaps a little too much wine imbibed. I have to be brief today as well, for I’m a little under the weather but I have a lot to do today before a few days of rain sets in. Projects keep getting accomplished at warp speed: my buddy Chris and I completed a huuuge work bench in my basement to help get things organize and provide a proper place to work, the excavation for where the walk-in cooler will go has been completed, I built a nice little rack to organize the plates for my weight rack, and my motorcycle is so close to being up and running again! Today I’ve been digging a ditch to run electricity to the well that I will be pulling water from for the coming season. 2018 is coming to a close as we prepare to enter the last month of the year, but I’m excited to see what 2019 has to offer! I think odd years have always been better years for me anyway. Or maybe it’s even years. I can’t remember…
I wanted to let you all know that because I printed out so many $20 Gift Certificates in anticipation of getting a flood of CSA sign-ups prior to Thanksgiving, and in hindsight realizing that my predictions were a bit over-zealous, I have decided to extend the promotion until the end of the year! That’s right, if you sign up for the Street Fare Farm CSA by December 31st, you will receive a $20 Gift Certificate redeemable at my booth at the Piedmont Farmer’s Market on Winecoff School Rd. at any time! We’re in the holiday season, so maybe this gift certificate could be a good gift for that person in your life who might need to start eating more vegetables, or perhaps they’re just a farmer’s market junkie, but whatever the case, this gift certificate could be a great stocking stuffer! Click here for more info and to sign up!
I hope to see you at the market tomorrow! I’ll be there from 9am til noon with microgreens and eggs! It might be a little on the rainy side, but definitely a bit warmer than it has been. Come out and say hello!
I hope you all have a great weekend, and a tremendous week. Thank you for your continued support!
